November at Park Ridge: A Month of Blessings

“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1

As we turn the page into November, our hearts begin to shift toward Thanksgiving and Christmas — two seasons that remind us of the goodness and faithfulness of God.

This month, we want to make thankfulness a focus across our school. During Monday’s assembly, we’ll be kicking off this season with a special twist on our prayer basket and a focus on the blessings God has given us.

We’ll be sharing reminders throughout the month to help our students (and all of us!) reflect on just how much we’ve been given.

Our prayer is that this won’t just be a November mindset, but that we plant a lasting seed of gratitude that continues to grow in our hearts all year long. “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” — Psalm 34:1

In that same spirit, we’re also collecting items to help support the Stanly County Christian Ministries Community Table. It’s a wonderful way for our students to live out their thankfulness by giving back to those in need.

We truly have so much to be thankful for — our students, our families, and the incredible staff God has brought together here at Park Ridge.
