About Park Ridge

History:

Founded out of obedience to God’s direction and with the legacy of the Little Red Schoolhouse, Park Ridge Christian School opened its doors in September 1993 to thirteen kindergarten students.   A grade was added each year until 2001, when the eighth grade was established.  Through God’s grace, power, and provision, the school has grown from thirteen students and one teacher in one room to over 215 students, eighteen teachers, in two buildings.

Statement of Faith:

The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, given to us as a revelation of His truth and character and as a guide for living.

There is only one God, creator of heaven and earth.  He exists in the trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  Jesus is God’s Son.  He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, worked miracles, suffered death on the cross, and is resurrected from the dead.

Salvation is a gift of God’s grace.  Salvation is freely given to all who put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary.  Our sins are atoned through His shed blood.  All who trust Jesus as their Savior become a member of the family of God through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.

All children are gifts from God.  Each is born with a plan and purpose for their lives.  They are gifted with individual talents and abilities to be used for their God given purpose in life.  They are designed by God uniquely and are given the abilities God wants them to have.

Marriage is between man and woman
